VOICES FROM EL-SAYED is a 75-minute long documentary film from Israel
about the Bedouin village of El-Sayed with the world’s largest
percentage of deaf people. In this unique society with its own special
form of sign language, deafness is not a handicap, but part of the
fabric of life. When one father decides to get a cochlear implant for
his son, this tightly knit community has distinct and complex
reactions.
