DCAD Mission DCAD’s mission is to empower all Deaf and hard-of-hearing residents in the DC area and provide advocacy for equal political, social, and economic access among our population. To that goal, we are focused on increasing our visibility in both government and community levels.

- In June 2008, co-hosted a workshop with Gallaudet University Student Body Government (SBG) to address a series of house break-ins in the area. Click here for statement.
